1990′ların başında yayın hayatına başladıktan kısa bir süre sonra devletin engellemeleri ve baskılarına maruz kalan Gündem gazetesinin muhabirlerine yönelik baskılar, işkence ve cinayetler, yönetmen-senarist Sedat Yılmaz tarafından Press adıyla beyaz perdeye aktarıldı. OHAL dönemi koşullarında bölgede gazetecilik yapan gündem gazetesi muhabirlerinin yaşadıklarının anlatıldığı film,insana kaçınılmazca, özgürlükten,insan haklarından,basın etiğinden,gazetecilik vazifesinden bahsedip duran;bunu da özellikle hükümetten aldıkları teşvikler kesilince yapan “körler sağırlar birbirlerini ağırlar” medyasının egosantrik ve maddi-manevi cülusperver gazetecilerininin (??!!!!!) o zamanlarda neler yazdığını, nelerle uğraştığını ve nelere gözlerini ve vicdanlarını üç kuruşa kapatabildiklerini düşündürtüyor.

In the first half of the 1990’s, on those days when intense skirmish between the kurdish guerillas and the turkish government took place, a handful of young journalists were struggling to proclaim the ongoing violations of human rights to the world. On those days of increasing pressure, the office staff fights both to survive and to reveal the facts. Journalism is no longer a profession, but a a matter of life or death for them. the English word was used in the original title of the film because of the double meaning of the word, both describing the work done and the pressure on the journalists.

Belgesel; 12 eylül 1980 askeri darbesinden sonra en ağır insan hakları ihlalleriyle anılan Diyarbakır 5 No'lu Cezaevi’nde yaşananları,tutuklu ve hükümlülerin çoğunun Kürt olduğu bu cezaevinde tüm tutuklulara, devletçe ne tür sistematik işkenceler yapıldığını ve nasıl Türkleştirme politikalarının uygulandığını da gösteriyor. Dönemin askeri yetkilileri cezaevini bir “askeri okul” olarak nitelerken tutuklular o dönemi “vahşet yılları” olarak hatırlıyor. Onlara göre bu vahşetin zincirlerini kırabilmek için de tek bir yol vardı o da direnmek veya kendini feda etmek. Tutuklular zincirleri kırmak için mücadele ettiler. 'The Times' gazetesine göre, “dünyanın en kötü şöhretli 10 cezaevi” arasında yer almaktadır. 1981 ve 1984 yılları arasında cezaevinde 34 kişi hayatını kaybetti, onlarca kişi sakat kaldı. Belgesel, cezaevinde yaşananları, direnenleri ve geride bıraktıklarını anlatıyor. “5 no’lu cezaevi: 1980-84″ belgeseli 30 yıl sonra yaşananları tanıkların ve yakınlarının diliyle aktarıyor.

Director Çayan Demirel has turned the events that occurred at diyarbakır prison no.5 during and after the 1980 military coup into a documentary based on eye-witness accounts. many politicians, artists, journalists and academics in turkey were put on trial and then sent to prison during and after the coup. The torture they were subjected to in the prisons has been slowly revealed over the years. diyarbakır prison No.5 holds the most significant place among these prisons. Documentary filmmaker Demirel, decided to contribute to revealing the torture that was carried out in the prison. he made a documentary called “diyarbakır No.5,” which focuses on kurdish prisoners, based on eye-witness accounts.

On May 24, 2011—the same day Brazil's Parliament voted to decrease logging restrictions in the country's Forest Code—married environmental activists Zé Cláudio Ribeiro and Maria do Espirito Santo were shot to death outside their house in the Amazonian state of Para. A month later we traveled to Zé Cláudio's hometown of Marabá, which was once in the middle of the rainforest and is now surrounded by miles and miles of clearcut cattle land. As the investigation into Zé and Maria's murders went nowhere, we drove into the forest to the site of the killings, followed the heavily armed men of Brazil's environmental protection agency as they busted up illegal timber mills, visited the militant squatters of Brazil's Landless Movement, met modern day slaves, and marveled at the lawless, violent atmosphere that permeates the town locals call Marabála (that means Mara-bullets).

Böylece Zetterstorm’un kendi iç dünyasına, bastırılmış duygularına, anılarına yolculuk başlar.

Zetterstrøm (Ulrich Thomsen) once had a love affair with a woman (Helena Christensen), then left her and forgot all about his past, in favour of his musical career. While he is away from Copenhagen, a supernatural incident occurs, making the central part of Copenhagen inaccessible, over time it becomes impossible to enter the area due to some invisible shield. When Zetterstrøm returns to Copenhagen, he is oblivious of this incident, and is guided by a mysterious man (Henning Moritzen) into the zone. Inside the zone, Zetterstrøm must re-experience his unresolved and traumatic love affair.
